The Basics:
- Growth Plays is hiring a Editorial Manager based in North America to own and project manage ongoing editorial workflows and content quality.
- This role is ideal for an experienced writer or editor with a deep understanding of SEO and B2B SaaS marketing who possesses exceptional attention to detail and has a process-driven mindset.
- You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that all content briefs, content drafts, and final deliverables meet expectations.
- Salary range: $85k-$105k base salary DOE, plus home internet, coworking space, and necessary office equipment.
- End of Year Bonus: $7k-$9k DOE and achieving goals.
- $40/month stipend for coffee and snacks.
- Full-time role, with health, vision + dental benefits (90% of health covered by us if US-based).
- Matching 401K (after 6 months, up to 4% - if US-based).

Your Background & Skill Set:
- Experienced B2B SaaS editor with a strong background in content editing, content strategy, and product positioning for developer tooling, APIs, AI/ML, and data infrastructure.
- Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for both technical and business audiences.
- Reviews content through a product marketing lens, evaluating accuracy, differentiation, tone, CTAs, and alignment with brand voice, strategy, and search intent.
- Strong SEO editing skills, including intent optimization, on-page SEO, internal linking, and CTA placement; fluent in Ahrefs, Semrush, and GSC.
- Proactive, organized, and deadline-driven, with strong project and time management abilities.
- Provides clear, actionable editorial feedback and maintains consistent quality across deliverables.
- Experienced in using and refining AI-assisted writing workflows for efficiency and quality.
- Comfortable conducting content audits to ensure published materials align with strategy and positioning.
- Collaborative communicator who works effectively with freelancers, internal teams, and client stakeholders.
